Carriage rides through The Royal Landscape, Windsor Great Park are provided by Ascot Carriages. Visitors can enjoy the experience of travelling by carriage in this beautiful area throughout the year.

Our sociable 4 to 6 seater carriage previously used by the Late Lt. Col. Sir John Miller, Her Majesty the Queen's Equerry and Horsemaster for 26 years has easy rise steps for the less mobile, cosy lap rugs and umbrellas for your comfort.

The Royal Landscape Grand Explorer 90 min tour @ £150 per carriage (max 4 adults)

15 min taster ride especially for families with very young children @ £22.50 per carriage (up to 6 seats)

Carriage Ride Calendar 2012

Rides depart from outside the Visitor Centre at the award-winning The Savill Building, The Savill Gardens, Wick Lane, Englefield Green, Surrey, TW20 0XD just 4 miles south of Windsor Castle, 1 mile from Englefield Green. To find us just follow the brown tourist signs to The Savill Gardens on A308 from Windsor, A30 from Bagshot or M25 Junction 13.

For very special occasions ask about our Private Drives in Windsor Great Park when we operate specially for you!

Using our Cardinal Red Wedding Landau which can be used open or with weatherproof hood, a carriage normally reserved for Weddings. Starting from The Savill Building, 25 minute ride includes small bottle of Champagne & Valentine's Rose! £85 per carriage (max 2 persons) – reservations essential as trips are limited.

What could be more romantic than 'popping the question' in an open or covered carriage or on 'bended knee' under a magnificent spreading Oak Tree in Windsor Great Park and stopping by the lake for champagne and photos (don't forget your camera – and 2012 is a Leap Year!).
