Carriage Driving Training & Mentoring

If you are thinking of breaking & training your horse or shetland pony to drive, we have a life time of training and driving experience and the facilities to match. We can teach you all the essentials you need to know to get started safely in the confines of private land, usually progressing quickly to driving on our local country lanes.

We use our own 2 and 4 wheel training vehicles, or you may bring your own. We can assess your horse for driving and give you honest, no nonsense advice on whether it would be worthwhile to proceed.

We specialise in preparing horses for the Windsor Sponsored Drive and British Driving Society harness marathon held in Windsor Great Park each year.

If its practical help and advice you need on any aspect of horse behaviour, boxing difficulty, carriage driving, which harness or vehicle to buy, we offer a mentoring service and can visit you if preferred.
